Paul Davidson has been listening to music for over 60 years and has a music archive to match, covering all the genres - and a few more besides.
He spent the 1970s & 80s as a techie in the performing arts, touring with acts as far apart as Genesis, The Sadista Sisters, Mungo Jerry and Pacific Eardrum, before settling for theatre work in London’s West End and out on the road.
Along the many miles he’s covered on the highways and byways, music has been a constant companion.
BRILLIANT CORNERS is a reflection of the times and places he has seen, drawing on all the little secondhand music stores and obscure online libraries he still haunts to this very day. The accent is on all the jazz, funk and fusion in the world, but there’s always room for a bit of rock, soul and reggae too, to add to the eclectic flava.
