As we enter July after what seems like a lifetime of lockdown, it’s apparent that the world is changing. What was the norm in December of 2019 is barely recognizable now and everyday brings a new way of being in the world and North Herts Radio is no exception when it comes to change. We are reinventing ourselves with the intention of remaining current and vibrant with an eye to the future and a foot in our past. The dream of Bee Phillips, North Herts Radio has grown in popularity and scope and we intend to keep going as long as you will have us.
I will be editing the Blog going forward and I welcome your input. The station was always designed to be a force for better within the North Herts community and we will be keeping that spirit going with blog entries that will serve the growth of the community as we all try to navigate the unknown waters of life during and after
As we start thinking about the future and for many of us, that means August, I am sure getting back to work and getting our children back to school is foremost in our thoughts. How can we do those things and remain safe and healthy? What will normal be like when September comes around? Will we have holidays like Halloween and Christmas in the same way that we have in the past and if not, what will they look like? I know there are so many questions that we all have, and I hope you will find peace in these times of uncertainty.
I will leave you with this thought; It took an army of engineers, mathematicians and support staff on the space programme, to allow the first human to set foot on the moon, but it took a dreamer to see it done, before it was possible.
